Formed in 2003 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, by brothers Sergio and Alberto Lizárraga, Banda MS has risen to international fame with their unique blend of brass band instrumentation and contemporary regional Mexican music.
Led by the talented Sergio Lizárraga as the band leader and tuba player, Banda MS quickly gained popularity with their catchy tunes and heartfelt lyrics. Their sound incorporates elements of banda, a traditional Mexican brass band style, with touches of romantic ballads, cumbia, and norteño music, creating a distinct and captivating musical identity.
