Security

Please review our entry requirements carefully, as our safety measures extend beyond the New York City “Key to the City” requirements. By attending Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre, all patrons acknowledge their consent to and agreement with the safety precautions adopted by the venue. Full safety protocols will also be provided in the “Know Before You Go” pre-show email sent prior to each performance. Lyric Theatre is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable entertainment experience, and by entering, guests agree to the theatre’s code of conduct. Flash photography and video recording of the production are prohibited. Guests must comply with bag search procedures, with large bags required to be checked at coat check. Seating is limited to the ticketed location, and tickets must be shown upon request. Smoking is not permitted in the theatre, and alcoholic beverages must be consumed responsibly, with impaired guests addressed promptly and safely. Guests must follow all instructions from theatre staff regarding operations and emergency procedures. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket. The production is suitable for ages eight and up, and children under five are not permitted. Additionally, children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult to be admitted.

Prohibited Items

Outside food and beverages, large professional cameras or video recording equipment (which may be checked at coat check), flashlights and laser pointers, illegal substances, noise-making devices and fireworks, firearms, weapons, and large luggage are not permitted inside the theatre. Guests are kindly asked to make other arrangements for oversized items before arriving.
