The St. James Theatre requires every individual who enters the theatre to have a purchased ticket. “Lap Seats,” or free tickets for small children who wish to watch the show from an adults lap, are not available. Our box office can assist in finding appropriate seating for a child. Children under 5 will not be admitted to the theatre.
The coat check is located on the Orchestra level. The charge is $3 per item.
The use of recording devices of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the theatre.

Merchandise is available for purchase on the Orchestra level before curtain, during intermission, and directly after the show.
Security
Your safety is our top priority. Doors open approximately 40 minutes before showtime, so please plan to arrive early and allow time for security screening. All guests must pass through a metal detector, and all bags are subject to inspection before entering the St. James Theatre.
The St. James Theatre is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience. By entering, guests agree to follow the theatre’s code of conduct. Flash photography and video recording of the production are not permitted. All guests must comply with bag search procedures, and large bags will need to be checked at coat check. Guests are required to sit only in their ticketed seats and present tickets upon request. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the theatre. Alcohol must be consumed responsibly, and impaired guests will be addressed promptly and safely. Guests are expected to comply with all instructions from venue staff regarding facility operations and emergency procedures. Every person entering, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.
Prohibited Items
Weapons of any kind—including firearms, knives, tasers, mace, and pepper spray—are strictly prohibited. Personal alarms, glass bottles or containers, lighters, bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, illegal substances, and outside alcohol are also not permitted. Theatre Management reserves the right to prohibit or remove additional items at its discretion to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
