Ernest E Valdez Hall
The Valdez Hall offers versatile space for events such as concerts, sporting events, dances, banquets, and weddings, as well as meetings, conventions, tradeshows and other special events. This multi-purpose, 32,000 square-foot hall is column free, has an attached full service kitchen, a 20′ x 30′ built-in performance stage, two dedicated wedding party salons and is great value for a venue of its size. As Fresno’s original convention center, the Valdez Hall is ideally suited for large celebrations, business functions, community gatherings, and sporting events.

Getting around
Vary per event, ADA seating can be provided.
Wheelchairs & Scooters are accessible for Elevator to 2nd Floor.
Both Floors of Valdez Hall can be accessed via Stairs located in Foyer near A-Side Restrooms.
Walkers, crutches, or similar support & mobility items will need to be placed away from aisles during the event. Venue Staff will provide access to items during intermission or End of Event.
A Wheelchair Accessible seat is a seat that can be removed based on the patron's mobility or disability. At the request of patron, the seat can be provided space for patrons with wheelchairs or scooters.
A Wheelchair Companion seat is a seat that located next to the Wheelchair Accessible seat. The seats for Accessible & Companion in the hall are removable, hardback chairs.
Restrooms are located in A-Side & B-Side locations on the 1st Floor.
Restrooms are located in 2nd Floor hallway near the Main Stairs.
All Restrooms are fully accessible with sensor-activated faucets.
Food & beverage areas in all buildings are accessible for persons with disabilities.
Accessible parking is located in front of the Lot. Please inform the attendant to be directed appropriately. Available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Elevator access is provided through Foyer inside 1st Floor of Venue. Stairs are located near A-Side Restrooms closest to M St. Entrance.
Elevator & Stairs provides access to 2nd Floor Meeting Rooms.
Drop-Off Vehicles can be done in our FCEC Parking Lot on O Street.
Based on Event, Security and Metal Detectors may be in place at all entrances for guest safety.
